By car:
Motorway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, 1 km after the Simmenfluhtunnel turn left direction Diemtigtal. Follow the Diemtigtal road into the valley for 8 km until Horboden. Turn left here and follow the signs to Springenboden (6 km). From Springenboden take the toll road towards Meienfall, turn left at the Meienfall turn-off. The hut is directly on the road on the right-hand side.
In winter, the hut can only be reached on foot from Springenboden in approx. 20 minutes or by taking the Springenboden ski lift.
By train and PostBus (public transport):
Oey-Diemtigen (Spiez-Zweisimmen line).
Continue by PostBus to the «Horboden, Chirel» stop. From here the mountain hut can be reached on foot in 2 hours.
By car:
