From the hut you have a magnificent view of the Stockhorn mountain range. Terrace with table, deckchairs and barbecue. Living room with Swedish stove. Kitchen with gas cooker and refrigerator. Running cold water and electricity. No oven. One bedroom with double bed and one bedroom with 4 beds (double bunk bed). No bathroom. Toilet.

By car:
Motorway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, 1 km after the Simmenfluh tunnel turn left direction to Diemtigtal. Follow the Diemtigtal road into the valley for 8 km to Horboden. Turn left here and follow the signposts «Springenboden» until you reach the signpost «Rüti». Turn left there and take the right-hand road to the next fork. Park 20 metres after the first cattle grid in the bend on the left-hand side.
By train and PostBus (public transport):
Oey-Diemtigen (Spiez-Zweisimmen line).
Continue by PostBus to the «Horboden, Chirel» stop. From here the hut can be reached on foot in 1 hour.
By car:
