Up to 14 people can sit comfortably at the covered table by the Katzenloch barbecue site. Water is available in the nearby stream, there is no electricity. The forest around is perfect for playing and running around. The barbecue area is located on the valley hiking trail, a 15-minute walk from Oey market square.

Motorway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, 1 km after the Simmenfluh tunnel turn left direction to Diemtigtal. Follow the Diemtigtalstrasse into the valley for 4 km until you reach the Diemtigen junction. There are a few parking spaces just after the bridge. Alternatively, you can park at the market place in Oey and reach the barbecue site in 15 minutes on foot.
Train, bus & co:
Take the train to Oey-Diemtigen station (Spiez–Zweisimmen line). Continue by PostBus to the stop «Diemtigen, Katzenlochbrücke». The barbecue site is located on the valley hiking trail below the Katzenloch bridge.
