Hike from the Wiriehorn mountain hotel (Nüegg) via Entschwil back to the valley station and stop after a short while at the «Röschteschwend» family barbecue site. A barbecue area, table, seats and wood are available. A great view is guaranteed. This barbecue site is not accessible by car.

Motorway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, 1 km after the Simmenfluh tunnel turn left direction to Diemtigtal. Follow the Diemtigtal road into the valley for 11 km to the «Wiriehorn Talstation» station. From here the Wiriehorn cable car takes you up to the Nüegg mountain station (note operating times: www.wiriehorn.ch).
Train, bus & co:
Take the train to Oey-Diemtigen station (Spiez–Zweisimmen line). Continue by PostBus to the stop «Riedli, Talstation Wiriehorn». From here the Wiriehorn cable car takes you up to the Nüegg mountain station (note operating times: wiriehorn.ch).
The barbecue site is located on the Nüegg–Entschwil–Riedli hiking trail.
