The covered barbecue area with tables and seating is located at the starting point of the >Grimmimutz adventure trail (in German only) and is thus an ideal starting and ending point for your hike. The Senggibach flows in the immediate vicinity towards the front valley. Wood and a WC are available on site.

Motorway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, 1 km after the Simmenfluh tunnel turn left towards Diemtigtal. Follow the Diemtigtal road into the valley for 19 km in the direction of Schwenden, Grimmialp to Senggiweid (starting point of the Grimmimutz adventure trail). The barbecue site is at the end of the car park.

By train to Oey-Diemtigen station. Continue by PostBus to the stop «Schwenden i.D., Grimmialp» (terminus). From here you can reach the starting point of the Grimmimutz adventure trail and the barbecue site in 5 minutes on foot. The barbecue area is at the end of the car park.
