Are you cut out to be an alpine herdsman? Find out and book an experience day on the Menigwald alp. Alpine farming is practised in the Diemtigtal Nature Park in the traditional way and you will be part of it. After the work is done, you can indulge yourself with culinary delights such as "chüschtigem Chees u Brot" and other products directly from the alp. Children are also very welcome on the Menigwald alp: In addition to the mini petting zoo with its animal inhabitants, there is plenty of room to let off steam.

Directions & Parking facilities
By train to Oey-Diemtigen station (Spiez-Zweisimmen line). Continue by PostBus to the stop «Zwischenflüh, Anger». From here, the Menigwald Alp can only be reached on foot (approx. 4.5 km, hiking time 2 hours).
Car:
Motorway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, 1 km after the Simmenfluh tunnel turn left direction to Diemtigtal. Follow the Diemtigtalstrasse into the valley for 11 km to the former Zwischenflüh post. From here on the road is subject to tolls (Fr. 10), please buy a permit at the ticket machine. Turn right and follow the sign «Seebergsee» for 3.5 km. Turn left at the «Menigwald» junction, after 3 km you will reach the Menigwald mountain restaurant.
