Our tip: Exciting information on the bird walk
Andreas Küttel's Swift Tower is located on the bird walk. After visiting the swifts, the > almost three-hour hike through numerous habitats of native bird species is worthwhile (the information boards are in German only).

Directions & Parking facilities

Car:
Motorway A6 Bern direction Zweisimmen, 1 km after the Simmenfluh tunnel turn left to direction Diemtigtal. Follow the «Diemtigtalstrasse» the valley for 4 km to the village of Oey. From here you follow the «Vogelweg» on foot. After about 15 minutes you will reach the common swift colony.

Train, bus & co:
Take the train to Oey-Diemtigen station (Spiez-Zweisimmen line). From here, follow the «Vogelweg» on foot. After about 15 minutes you will reach the common swift colony.
